FISHING REPORT

Best Bait: Artificial fishing lures (minnows, mini jigs, and spoons) and Power Bait

Weather conditions: Most days have been cooler with clouds and rain as we move into Fall.
Last stock: Trout, (1,000 LBS Trout): Thursday, 12/4/25
Next stock: Trout (1,000 LBS Trout): Thursday 12/11/25
Average size: Most are around the 1.5-2.5LB range. Several caught were in the 6-8LB range. All our fish come from Mt. Lassen Fish Hatchery every Thursday.
Top Spots of the Week: Finger, North Shore, Sandy point, Drain
CATCHES OF THE WEEK:
Trout season has kicked off with a BANG! Fishermen are out there using an array of different techniques like “Double drop shot”, jigging with minnows and mini jigs, Power Bait and still using the good ol’ floating night crawlers.
Come on down for some great fishing! And don’t be shy, let us take your picture with your catches so we can feature you in our next fishing report!!! Let the lake monitor know you would like your picture taken or just come on up to the lake store and we will snap a picture with your fish!
And don’t forget that the lake store is stocked up with MJM Custom Baits, Golden State Fishing Baits, Magic Fish Water attractants, Power Bait and BANG! Spray!
Lake AND Store hours are: 6am-6pm

Adults- $25
Kids- $15 WITH a paid adult band
Military/Senior(65+)- $22
Hesperia Residents- $22
California state fishing license NOT REQUIRED.
