This fun and active program is open to kids (ages 5+) and adults, making it a great opportunity for the whole family to learn a new skill in a safe and supportive environment. Tai Chi – At Max Capacity
Due to the overwhelming response, San Bernardino County’s Tai Chi class held at Percy Bakker Community Center has officially reached its maximum capacity of 35 participants. This cap helps ensure everyone can safely and effectively learn the movements, which build on each week’s practice, and allows instructors to provide individual guidance. Anyone who registered at the first meeting will be able to attend all remaining classes. Thank you to everyone who signed up! 📢 Community Update: Storm Recovery Efforts Underway In December 2025, a severe winter storm caused significant damage to several Hesperia Recreation and Park District facilities, including Percy Bakker Community Center, Timberlane Park, and Hesperia Lake Park. These parks and facilities are more than buildings and open space — they are places where our community gathers for youth programs, senior activities, sports, events, and family recreation.
