Big news for our parks and community! The Hesperia Recreation and Park District is incredibly grateful to receive $885,000 in state funding to support critical Storm Damage Repair for all our parks District Wide! We want to extend a massive thank you to Assemblymember Tom Lackey, Assemblymember John Harabedian and Senator Suzette Martinez Valladares for their dedication to the High Desert and for securing these vital resources from Sacramento. Additionally, we would like to extend a special thank you to our General Manager Robert Hernandez, the HRPD Board of Directors, and the Rojas Communications Group for their collaborative advocacy and strategic lobbying efforts to secure these resources. This funding helps us to restore, rebuild, and maintain safe, beautiful outdoor spaces for all our families to enjoy. We also congratulate our neighbors at the City of Hesperia on securing $150,000 for local stormwater improvements at the same presentation! Thank you for investing in the future of Hesperia’s Recreation & Parks! #HRPD#HesperiaParks#CommunityFirst#StormRepair#HighDesert#ThankYou
